If you prefer not to eat much first thing, try this super quick and easy breakfast drink to give you an every boost to start the day. If you're short on time, whizz in the liquidiser and then put in a sealable beaker or flask for an on-the-go breakfast.

  • 100ml semi skimmed milk
  • 150g low fat natural yogurt
  • 25g bran flakes
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp honey

How to make it

  1. Place all the ingredients in a liquidiser or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and drizzle over some extra honey to serve (optional).

For a smoother texture, soak the bran flakes in the milk for 5-10 minutes in advance.
