  • 4 slices local lean, dry cured bacon, e.g. Wiltshire or Dorset
  • 2 sausages, e.g. Newmarket, Lincolnshire or Cumberland
  • 2 eggs, scrambled with a little milk and few chopped chives
  • Tomato relish
  • Button mushrooms
  • Local breads to serve

How to make it

  1. Start by grilling the sausages, the cooking time will vary according to the type and size but allow approximately 15 minutes and turn regularly
  2. Around 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time add the bacon to the grill pan along with the mushrooms and whilst they are cooking scramble the eggs

Serve immediately with a glass of fresh apple juice and assorted toasted bread
