Cranberry Spiced Porridge

This is a lovely winter breakfast recipe that will warm you up on a cold morning. It's a healthy breakfast option too.

  • 100g rolled oats
  • 50g dried cranberries
  • Qtr tsp mixed spice
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • 700ml semi skimmed milk

How to make it

  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil
  2. Simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened
  3. Serve with a tsp of cranberry sauce and a sprinkling of mixed spice

Use frozen whole cranberries with 2 tbsp sugar instead of the dried cranberries and cranberry sauce.
