Farmhouse Breakfast Week is a great time to promote the produce of your shop while emphasising health and nutritional messages.

We can provide a number of free resources which you can order to display in your shop. We have suggested some ways in which you can get involved in the campaign below and you may also like to take a look at our case studies for added inspiration!

Display local breakfast flavours

Organise in-store promotions with breakfast produce. You could also use Farmhouse Breakfast Week promotional materials and highlight the benefits of healthy eating, lifestyle and regional foods.  You might like to consider selling "breakfast packs" during the week where you offer joint promotions of breakfast items e.g bacon and eggs, bread and jam.

Sampling and tasters

People love to try things before they buy so give customers the opportunity to sample a range of delicious breakfast flavours from the local area. You could also let them sample any unusual or new breakfast produce that you may have.

Breakfast cooking demonstration

Invite a local chef to your store and arrange for them to give a cooking demonstration with breakfast produce from the surrounding area. You could also invite a local sports star along to talk about the importance of including breakfast in a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle - an ideal opportunity to invite the local media too.

Social media promotion

If you have a Twitter page for your business, how about tweeting to say followers will receive a free or discounted item if they come into your shop and show the tweet during Farmhouse Breakfast Week or on one particular day?

Organise an in-store competition or prize draw

How about running a competition throughout Farmhouse Breakfast Week and the lucky winner receives a breakfast hamper full of goodies.

Launch a new breakfast product

Start the week by launching a new product that could be eaten at breakfast time and invite the local press along.

Supply a local school or breakfast club with breakfast

Contact your local school and see if they would be interested in doing a joint event to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week.  You could supply them with some breakfast produce and they could have a special breakfast one day for the children and invite parents along too.  You could perhaps include a competition for the children.

Cafe Promotions

If you have an cafe within your shop you could add some additional breakfast items to the menu or include an all day breakfast.
