Farmhouse Breakfast Week provides a great opportunity for breakfast themed promotions!  With 1.1 billion out-of-home breakfast occasions in the UK*, there is plenty of scope for your business.

We have provided some suggestions below of ways you might like to get involved with the campaign.  Have a look at our case studies section for some added inspiration.

Offer an all-day breakfast on the menu

For one week only, serve breakfast up throughout the whole day!  Consider serving breakfast with regional flavours or offer a different breakfast theme each day.  You could also offer an extended breakfast during this week and trial some new products to find out how appealing they are to your customers.

Offer 'Deskfasts'

With busy lifestyles and hectic morning routines, more people are opting for eating breakfast when they get to work because they just don't have time before leaving the house.  26% of adults now say they eat breakfast at their desk.  Try offering "grab and go" breakfasts that people can take away with them such as toast, muffins, bacon sandwiches etc.

Competition

Organise a breakfast themed competition for your employees and/or customers e.g. a competition involving any item of the breakfast produce you serve - guess how many eggs in the basket. Prizes could include a breakfast hamper filled with breakfast goodies or sports equipment.

Highlight local flavours on the breakfast menu

There is an excellent range of high quality and delicious regional breakfast produce available across the UK and Farmhouse Breakfast Week is the ideal occasion to highlight this.

Throughout the year

Arrange themed breakfast days throughout the year, for example:
  • All-day breakfast during Farmhouse Breakfast Week (22-28 January)
  • Pancakes for Shrove Tuesday (8 March)
  • Welsh cakes for St David's Day (1 March)
  • Soda bread bacon butties for St Patrick's Day (17 March)
  • Full English cooked breakfast for St George's Day (23 April)
  • Porridge for St Andrew's Day (30 November)
