After hundreds of entries and thousands of votes we can now finally announce the results of the 2015 Best Breakfast Awards. For the second year running, the winner can be found near the world famous Penny Lane in Liverpool, with reigning champions The Tavern Company’s Full English once again being named the best breakfast in the country.
Following their successful launch last year, The Best Breakfast Awards are back and the next fortnight is the key time for drumming up customer votes. Cafes, hotels, farm shops and bed and breakfasts, are amongst those are eligible to enter their breakfast dishes for a chance to be crowned as a ‘Best Breakfast’ winner. We’re really pleased to be running the Best Breakfast Awards again this year, as we had a great response when we launched them last year. The awards celebrate the fantastic and varied breakfast dishes served up and down the country. We are looking for the best dishes, the ones that stand out on the menu and use fresh and, where possible, local ingredients.
It’s official: Tried & True café in Putney offers the most innovative breakfast in the country! The café was awarded the Best Breakfast Award for their BBQ Pulled Pork Benedict when the winners were announced on Monday, and today was our chance to try itmers doing so each wee.

The restaurant, found metres from the famous Penny Lane, has been awarded the Best Breakfast Award for their Full English, beating hundreds of venues across the UK. The awards, taking place as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week, recognise the growing trend of eating breakfast out, with 1 in 4 consumers doing so each week.
