Farmhouse Breakfast Week reaches half way point

We’re halfway through Farmhouse Breakfast Week already – but the good news is that means we still have half of our celebrations to go!

Events have been taking place up and down the country promoting the importance of breakfast and the range of breakfast foods available. The Shake Up Your Wake Up team have been out attending as many of these as we can – so today it’s our turn to host our own staff breakfast, which we are combining with a Charity Farmhouse Breakfast taking place here on Stoneleigh Park to raise money for RABI and the Addington Fund. We’ll be sharing pictures of this for #BreakfastWatch and hope you continue to share your breakfast pictures too. Our gallery is really taking shape now, highlighting all the different foods that people enjoy for breakfast. Once again Nadia Sawalha has shared a video with her breakfast for today and you can read more from Nadia about breakfast in this week's Best magazine.

Thank you to everyone that has taken part in #BreakfastWatch so far – unfortunately while we’re celebrating and enjoying breakfast all week, too many people are still skipping it. If you haven’t seen the results of our study yet you can read here how many mums and kids are missing out on the benefits of breakfast.

Talking of breakfast benefits , if you have doubts why you should be eating breakfast or want to know which breakfasts are best for you then you can ask nutritionist Azmina Govindji today on Twitter. Azmina (www.twitter.com/azminanutrition) will be on hand between 1 and 2pm today. You can ask questions or follow the conversation using #FBWQandA.
